Protect your practice, now and for the future.

Security breaches can be devastating to a dental practice. Denticon delivers robust and reliable security features that safeguard your entire organization.

Protect your practice, now and for the future.

Cloud-based software connects your organization and brings each location under the same protocols. Your IT team gains more visibility and more control.

Enhance security

Reduce the risk of a HIPAA breach by eliminating vulnerable local data storage.

Improve IT visibility

With your practice on one software, your IT team has a holistic view of all groups’ data from one simple interface.

Control permissions

Specify user profiles and easily manage rights and permissions across your practice.

Eliminate downtime

When a server crashes, the typical dental office grinds to a halt. Denticon offers continuous uptime, thanks to multiple layers of redundancies.

We use state-of-the-art hardware and software firewalls and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) along with continuous Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to monitor and protect your data. Our systems are updated and patched regularly to resolve any potential vulnerabilities promptly. We continuously replicate data to our disaster recovery site and perform backups throughout the day, nightly, and weekly.

HIPAA compliance

Planet DDS is compliant with all standards included in the HIPAA Security Rule, HIPAA Privacy Rule standards, and the HITECH Act that applies to Business Associates. We regularly undergo assessments with third-party experts to ensure our continued compliance.

Physical and virtual security layers

Denticon has a robust set of rights and granular user permissions that can be assigned based on individual users, groups, or employee roles. Administrators can designate when and where users can log in and monitor all user activity via a detailed audit trail.

We are one of the original users of Denticon and have been very satisfied. We don’t worry about security or backups, and the system has worked very well for us. It’s very cost-effective and the cost of starting up is virtually zero. I have recommended Denticon to many people over the years.
