Data Center Security
Our carrier-grade datacenter is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our four security zones utilize full digital surveillance, 100% in/out escort, mantrap gate, biometric scanning, and physical monitoring. All hardware cages have combination locks, under floor power and network wiring to prevent further unauthorized access.
Data Center Redundancy
Our datacenter is engineered to ensure that our customer's Internet access to our Information Systems is available 100% of the time and is monitored 24x7 by our Network Operations Center (NOC). We have full redundancy from our mutli-homed fiber network to power and fire suppression.
Data Center Network Security
Redundancy in power and Internet access is the minimum precautions any datacenter should take. However, these precautions are meaningless in the face of a focused attack or an automated exploit such as an Internet "worm".
We've implemented an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) not only to detect Internet threats, but also preventing them from succeeding. Our firewall protection also intercepts the most common Internet threats such as Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. Network traffic is also monitored 24x7 from our NOC.
We are continually working to meet other stringent requirements such as HIPPA compliance.
Secure Access
Any personal data transmitted over the Internet from our site is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Users accessing their data are required to enter a unique ID and password from a secured browser with 128-bit encryption support. Once logged in, the Digital ID from VeriSign authenticates the user's computer identity and a secure session is established.
To access your records, we require the use of a secure browser, Microsoft® Internet Explorer, which supports 128-bit encryption.
Secure Data
Data such as your SSN, password, credit card and address is encrypted in our database using 128-bit RC2 keys. Data viewed without the matching key and decryption shows up as hashed, meaningless data. Our employees cannot even view your data to determine your identity. We utilize the same encryption when sending your confidential records via email.
