Increased Use of Digital Data Continues to Drive the Need for Cloud

According to a recent report by Frost and Sullivan, digital data growth is a major contributor to the increased need for cloud computing.

The report, Cloud Data Analytics: Technology Penetration and Roadmapping, explained that the cloud's ability to improve data storage capabilities is one of the reasons why the technology is becoming so widespread among small- to medium-sized businesses and large enterprises. On capability many businesses are looking for is cloud analytics, which offer insights on the large volumes of data stored in the cloud and allows organizations to get more value from their data and web based dental software.

In addition to the nearly limitless amount of space, the cloud can decrease capital and operational expenditures to help the organization save money. This is also a major contributing factor toward the increased migration to the service.

Verizon Communications expects that the cloud computing services market will increase from the current $10 billion industry to $150 billion by 2020. Many service providers believe that the increased migration to the cloud is due to ease, affordability and data storage capabilities that it provides.
